About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer at Airbase by Paylocity, you will play a critical role in enhancing the product experience by understanding user pain points and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. You’ll drive end-to-end design processes from research and ideation to execution, ensuring that product design aligns with user needs and business goals.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer challenges related to spend management and align with long-term business objectives.
• Plan and execute user testing to validate design decisions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments to align on design goals.
• Work with PMs, engineers, and customer success teams to define user experiences.
• Design intuitive workflows and interactions.
• Create wireframes, mockups, and high-fidelity visuals.
• Manage small to medium-sized design projects independently.
• Contribute to a culture of innovation and team collaboration.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7 years of design experience, preferably with enterprise-level or B2B SaaS products.
• Proven ability to design and iterate based on user research and feedback.
• Proficiency in design tools like Figma, Sketch, Adobe CC.
• Basic HTML and CSS knowledge.
• Experience with agile teams and product development processes.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Passion for creating delightful user experiences.

What You Will Bring

• 7+ years of experience designing multi-platform enterprise user experiences using design systems.
• Expertise in workflow design.
• Proficiency in Figma, Sketch, InVision, Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Working knowledge of HTML and CSS.
• Competence in one or more areas: User Research, Product Design, UI Development, UX Writing.
• Experience in agile environments and cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication skills to align design thinking with business outcomes.
• Understanding of web and mobile application design principles.
• Eye for detail in micro-interactions that improve user delight.

Nice to Have

• Experience with workflow-driven B2B SaaS products.
• Background in accounting or fintech software.
• Experience working with distributed or remote product teams.
